On the Springbank Tour you’ll have the opportunity to journey through our historic distillery which has been on the same site since 1828.

As the only distillery in Scotland to complete 100% of the process on site, you’ll have the chance to see each step of the whisky making process before enjoying a dram of one of our core range whiskies and taking away a glass and miniature to enjoy at home.

Tours are available Monday to Saturday – please see below to book online.

Please note there will be no production at Springbank from early September-December however tours of the distillery are still available.

FAQ's

How many drams are included in the tour?
After your tour, you will have the choice to taste one of our core range whiskies.
Do I get to keep my glass?
Yes, you can take your glass away with our compliments and you will also receive a visitors miniature to enjoy at home.
Should I book a tour in advance?
To avoid disappointment, we recommend that tours are booked in advance to guarantee your place. Tours are available to book either online or by contacting us via email [email protected] or telephone +44 (0)1586 552009.
When should I arrive for my tour?
We recommend guests arrive around 10-15 minutes before their tour begins.
Can I take photographs?
Guests are permitted to take photographs throughout both distilleries with the exception of our Bottling Hall. Your guide will make you aware of this during the tour.
Are children permitted on the tours?
Under 18’s are welcome on our Springbank and Kilkerran Tours and can join free of charge as long as they are accompanied by a responsible adult. If you plan to bring along children, please add a note of this at the time of booking. No under 18’s will be permitted during our Cadenhead's Warehouse Tasting.
Can I buy whisky from the distillery shop?
Yes you can, our premises licence commences at 10:00am. When booking the 9:45am Springbank Tour, you are accepting that your first opportunity to make a purchase from our Distillery shop will be when the tour concludes at 10:45am. Please note that no products can be reserved before the tour begins.
Are dogs permitted on the tours?
Only assistance dogs are permitted on our tours. Where possible, we ask that you inform us in advance if you are bringing an assistance dog to the distillery. You can contact us via email [email protected] or telephone +44 (0)1586 552009.
What is your cancellation and refunds policy?
We will provide refunds if tours are cancelled at least 48 hours prior to the tour time. After this time, no refunds will be given. Please call a member of our team on +44 (0)1586 552009 or email [email protected] to arrange a refund.
