The Springbank Whisky School offers whisky enthusiasts the unique opportunity to experience traditional distilling methods first hand.
During the summer months, our whisky school students will work under the expert supervision of our production team for a period of 5 days at Springbank Distillery.
As we are the only Scottish distillery to undertake 100% of whisky production on one site, you’ll participate in each and every step of the process, being hands on in everything from floor malting and distilling, to filling casks and bottling the finished product. There truly is no better experience for whisky lovers who are keen to learn the process of making Scotland’s famous liquid.
Accommodation will be provided in the local area, as well as breakfast, lunch and an evening meal each day.
The 2019 block is now fully booked but if you would like to register your interest for our 2020 Springbank Whisky School then please complete our online enquiry form. You will then be placed on our mailing list and a member of our team will be in touch with further details in due course.
Please note: Those participating require a certain level of fitness as some aspects entail physical activity. Should you have any health issues, or are pregnant, please advise us so that you are not asked to undertake any activity that may be harmful to you. Springbank is a working distillery and as such would be unsuitable for anyone who has underlying health problem that would prevent them from carrying out physical activity. Travel to and from Campbeltown is not included in the cost.
